LIU Leadership Conference

On Friday, November 5th, 2021, members of our company headed out to LIU Post to take part in the Long Island Leadership Conference. It was an amazing experience where members of our company were able to gain a bigger insight into the business world. It has also been a really good bonding experience for our team. When we first got there, our team was ecstatic to see that they had made us our very own name tags. We had all felt so special. While we were there, we were able to get a tour of the entire campus with a tour guide. The campus was gorgeous and every place that we visited had a story behind it and the campus was filled with so much history. At this event, we were able to listen to Chuck Garcia speak. He gave a powerful speech with a strong message behind it. Garcia had explained the importance of determination and the power of not giving up. Life is a mountain and you just have to climb it. We were also given the opportunity to split into different problem-solving groups depending on which department you were in. By doing so, members of our company have been able to learn more about their specific department. Everyone had so much fun! We learned so much and can’t wait to be able to go to more events like this one.
