The Southern Tier Land Conservancy was founded by local Binghamton-area residents who are passionate about helping to preserve the natural environment of the area that makes our region such a fantastic place to live. All of our work is conducted by volunteers, and we always look for individuals who want to help us in our mission to assist our community. All backgrounds and interests are welcome!

While our 501(c)3 non-profit organization runs on volunteer effort, conserving land involves real costs. In addition to the required costs involved in land transfer, we must pay for operational costs associated with monitoring properties, outreach, and insurance. We rely on donations for funding to keep the STLC viable. Please consider donating to our mission. 100% of all donations go towards conserving land. All donations are tax-deductible.
