I will compare and contrast a monster I made to see what differences I have made to its original form. The monster I will compare and contrast is “El Coco.” He is known for snatching children, and it is also used by misbehaving children's parents to scare them into thinking they will get kidnapped or worse. He is often mistaken for the boogeyman.
Now I will contrast my version of the El Cuco to the Latin American original version. One difference I've made is that he can duplicate himself. He can also shapeshift into other things or people, and he can also amplify his voice like he is talking into a microphone connected to 100 speakers. He can also become invisible and has super strength. Also, my monster took place in Mexico, but the original takes place in Spain and Portugal
I will compare both monsters to each other, and one of the similarities they have with each other is shapeshifting. And I didn't make any differences to the monsters' look or their personality, he is still very evil, still trying to get kids and take them to hurt them, or even worse. I think those are all the similarities with the monster; they also still have the same name. I think that wraps up their similarities
My conclusion is that everyone is not kindhearted because you never know what they can be or what they will do to you, and especially don't walk in the forest at night.

Mysterious figure in the night
The five sisters are nearing their Abulito Remidios' house after a long walk from a local
Market. They began to enter a trail that leads to the house, but they all saw a shadowy figure behind a tree. The figure shouted, ‘You guys haven't been disrespectful…. Right! All of the sisters start walking backward fast to get as far as possible from the figure. The figure shouts to come back now and swears he will not hurt them.
The sisters decide they will turn back and go to talk to him. After a little bit of walking, they have gotten a good distance away from the figure that pops out from behind the tree and starts to remind them of all of the disrespectful and mean things they have done. Remember when you lied to your mother about that body you found?. Odelia starts panting. She says, I'm sorry, please don't hurt me.
The monster roars and starts chasing all of the sisters, screaming, 'Don't run, I would never hurt you.' Their youngest sister begins to lose her footing and trips. The monster grabs her by her arm and picks her up. The monster yells Come back and save your sister, you cowards. You don't want to save her? I'll just kill her then hahahahah
They all shout Let her go and start rushing towards him. He throws her to the ground and merges into the darkness. They are now in the middle of the forest, he shouts; I am fed on your fear, you are making me stronger and stronger, you will never defeat me, hahah, one os the sisters shouts I know his weakness, everyone pulls out the flash lights, abulitos remedies gave us his weakness is
Light. They all start shining the lights his way, and he screams and falls to the ground.
