The weeping women
Have you ever heard of La Llorona and La Sayona? These two Latin American folklore characters haunt the earth cause of their betrayal; they both caught their husbands being unfaithful. They also have very similar stories to La Llorona, and LA Sayona says they still walk around the earth weeping.
La Llorona was a happily married woman with 2 children she was living the life she had wanted with the man of her dreams and then her husband had to go out to do his job he would only come back a couple of times a month to come see his children and Maria (La Llorna) but one day her husband rolls into town with anther woman Maria (La Llorona) saw this and she was filled with rage.
La Llorona threw her kids in the water out of jealousy to get revenge on her husband's betrayal. Rumor still says that La Llorona still roams the earth, weeping for her children to come back to her. She stays in a white dress, walking around the water, calling to her boys. She stayed there and died where she had thrown her kids in the water.La Sayona was happily married to a hardworking and kind man, who was everything she had dreamed of one day out of rage a rumor spreads by her angry neighbor and told La Sayona her husband was unfaithful she was filled with rage for a coule of days then she couldnt handle it anymore so she went home to confront her husband and he claims hey are false but she didnt believe him and so she struck him and killled him and her mother came in and she struck her to and the mothers last words were a curse “casilda you will pay for what you have done. You will wander the earth forever, punishing men who betray the woman who love them.” rumors say that she is still roaming the earth alone in a white dress walking on the roads at night. They say she is calling out for men that travel alone and asking for help, and when they try to help her, she turns into a monster with a twisted, fury face and red, burning eyes. Men who have helped her fainted or have never been seen again, and they started to call La Sayona the (the evil punisher). She goes to unfaithful men who mistreat women.
