Balloon Toss

In an open area, play with a balloon in the air, trying to keep the balloon in the air using your hands or feet. Try not to let the balloon hit the floor.

Play with balloon for 5 minutes!

Catch and Throw

Using a medium sized ball(or soft object of similar size) such as playground ball--Play catch and throw with your child. Have your child stand about 5 feet away from you. If needed use tape or stickers on the floor so they know where to stand. Try to play catch for 1-2 minutes--or the length of a song!

If this is hard, try standing closer to your child or using a bigger ball(such as a beach ball).

If this is easy, try standing further away from each other.

Kicking

Place a ball on the floor in front of the child. Have the child kick the ball forward towards a target 6 feet away.

Kick the ball 10 times with each foot!

If this is hard, bring the target closer to the child or allow the child to hold onto a stable surface(such as a chair) while kicking for added balance support.

If this is easy, try moving the target further away.
