Background
Mdm Mary's son used to be in a Special Needs’ school, Metta. She was unhappy that the school made her son graduate at the age of 18 years old. Her son still has a lot of needs e.g. digital literacy needs. But he was made to graduate.
Mdm Mary is always worried about what would happen to her child after she passes away. She described her agony as a parent of her autistic child as“Si bu ming mu” which translates to "to die with grave worry on one's heart". She needs a calligraphy and ancient Chinese painting teacher to develop her son's artistic abilities and talents. She is also looking for a life coach who can teach her autistic son to solve life issues (e.g. Handphone issues). Along the way, she is also looking for a friend for her autistic son who could play games with him as well as translate English into Chinese for him (especially if the teacher is chinese)
Mdm Mary want to let her son learn the olden way of Chinese writing because she values its deep poetic sense. She is on a mission to debunk the popular conception that autistic children won't amount to much by nurturing her son's natural artistic talent in ancient Chinese painting and art.
Mdm Mary prefers Chinese-speaking volunteers as she is not conversant in English. Because of her inadequacy in English language proficiency, she does not understand government policies in forms and brochures.
Mdm Mary does not want any of her photos and her son's photos to appear in the public domain. She is fiercely protective of her privacy as well as that of her son. She wants to maintain her privacy because of prior bad experiences with people at large. She holds a criterion of screening volunteers before they interact with her son as she is worried about people with unkind intentions.
