Phainess has been volunteering with Son and Oscar Foundation since the beginning of our project in Arusha. She holds a Diploma in Primary Teacher Education and currently teaches English to Standard Three students. Her dedication, creativity, and passion for education have made her a valuable part of our team, helping children improve their language skills and grow in confidence.

Andrew John Mhinga

Teaching Volunteer

Andrew joined Son and Oscar Foundation in April 2025 as a local volunteer. He holds a Bachelor’s Degree in English Language Education and currently teaches English to Class Five students. With his strong academic background and commitment to education, Andrew brings energy, structure, and clarity to the classroom, helping students improve their language skills and overall confidence.

Ibrahim Lyimo

Teaching Volunteer

Ibrahim Lyimo joined Son and Oscar Foundation in January 2024 as a committed local volunteer. He holds a Bachelor’s Degree in English Language Education with a focus on primary teaching. Ibrahim is passionate about empowering young learners through language and plays a key role in supporting the foundation’s education initiatives with dedication and professionalism.

Michael Mollel

Teaching Volunteer

Michael joined Son and Oscar Foundation in January 2024 and currently teaches English to Class Six at Manyata Primary School. He holds a Bachelor of Education with English Language and is known for his clear instruction, positive energy, and strong connection with students. Michael is dedicated to improving English proficiency among young learners and is a valued member of our volunteer teaching team.

Flora Mathayo

Teaching Volunteer

Flora joined Son and Oscar Foundation in April 2025 and teaches English to Class Seven at Manyata Primary School. She holds a Bachelor of Education with English and is a dedicated and effective teacher who inspires her students to improve their language skills. Flora is passionate about education and plays a key role in supporting the foundation’s mission to uplift learning in the community.

Erick Edmund Moshi

Foundation Driver

Erick Moshi has been working with Son and Oscar Foundation since the launch of our project in Arusha. He serves as our project driver, responsible for safely transporting volunteers daily from Arusha town to Manyata Primary School in Usa-River Ward. Erick is reliable, punctual, and plays a vital role in ensuring smooth operations and the timely delivery of our educational services.
