Password Reset

Welcome! This page will assist you with resetting your SVUSD password. A password reset will apply to both your computer login and your Google account login. However, it will not impact your Powerschool login. For assistance with Powerschool account issues, please contact our help desk.


Choose the option below that best applies to you:

NEW EMPLOYEES:

I'm new to SVUSD, I need to reset my temporary password

You have one option:

👉 Reset your password from Incident IQ
Use this option if you are new staff and recently received a welcome email from the IT department, including your new email account and temporary password.

(Note: you must log in to Google with your temporary password first and accept the terms and conditions before you can proceed with changing your password).

EXISTING EMPLOYEES:

I know my current password, but I want to reset it

You have one option:

👉 Reset your password from Incident IQ
Incident IQ is our help-desk platform. Their password reset utility is web-based and works from anywhere: school, home, café shop, etc. View a video tutorial

EXISTING EMPLOYEES:

I don't know what my password is, I'm locked out 

You have two options:

👉 Incident IQ Password Reset Wizard
Works from anywhere, but requires that you had already set up your security questions in Incident IQ. 

or

👉 Contact the IT Department
Use this option if you have not set up your security questions in Incident IQ. IT is open: Mon-Fri, 7-11am, 12-4pm
