Hello!

I am Mr. Anton, and I have served over 35 years in Snowline at both Pinon Mesa and Heritage. I've been at Heritage from the start, back in 1995! My passion for History is founded on a belief that we have been truly blessed to live in this great nation. I come from a family of military service, and seeing their sacrifice for the ideals of our nation's heritage inspires me to teach our generations past, present, and future that "Freedom is not Free!" I look forward to partnering with you for a successful school year. We are a family here, and I am so honored to partner with you.  For many of you, we have seen so much over the years together, haven't we? Now I have students of former students in my room..." grand students" are you kidding me? I have earned three degrees: a BA in History, a Minor in German, and a Master's in World War II Studies, where I graduated with "High Honors.".

I have written a few books and articles on my passions: Baseball, WWII, and Germany. I've also worked on a few movies and served on the Board of Trustees for The National World War II Museum in New Orleans, LA. When I am not here at school, you'll find me at Dodger Stadium or seeing the awesome UCLA Bruins in action. I also work/advise for two amazing WWII companies, one based in Normandy, France, called D-Day Memory Tour (left), which is an experience-type tour (I am pictured in the middle), and World Strides. The other picture is from my recent WWII World Strides Tour from London to Austria in June of 2025!

This summer, my wife Sue and I will celebrate our 36th wedding anniversary with our two children. I STILL love my job!
