All dance begins with it's foundation in Ballet. Dancers will be taught basic ballet technique, performance technique, and vocabulary.  

Students will also receive modern dance, jazz, Broadway, and social dance forms within the school year.

Dancers are assessed on the material they learn in class from me or guest artists.

Dancers will be given instruction and guidance as they choreograph their own dances and will have the opportunity to enter the dances into the Fall or Spring Dance Concert.

Dancers will receive dance history, through lecture and movement. There will be a few written assignments.

Dancers will be stronger, more flexible and develop coordination, rhythm and problem solving skills throughout the school year.
