This section of dance is reserved for students who have...

1) taken dance at a studio for several years and are defined as "Advanced" by their dance school or studio or,

2)  by Sophomores who want to move up into the IB-Advanced dance class (intermediate dance is always an option).

If you are considered an Advanced Dancer you will be placed in the IB class and will complete the same curriculum an IB student would complete. 

If you are coming to the Advanced class as a Freshman or Sophomore and planning to eventually move into the IB Dance Class this opportunity allows you to develop your skills as a choreographer and performer. You will have the opportunity to begin your studies in dance history so you will be thoroughly prepared for your research paper your junior/senior year.
