YOUTH CAMPS: 

TUESDAY, MAY 27TH - FRIDAY, MAY 30TH (2025)

Our goal is to challenge/ enhance the fundamental skills and love of volleyball and SMS Athletics. Campers will engage in various drills that focus on the fundamental skills and game-like situations. In addition to skills, Coaches will emphasize teamwork, communication and game strategy. Each camper will recieve a South Athletics Shirt. YOUTH CAMP DESCRIPTIONS:

• Combo Volleyball and Basketball Camp
  This camp is for campers going into 2nd through 5th grade in the Fall of 2025. It is designed to introduce and enhance athletes to the fundamentals and game situations of both sports. Coaches will consist of current and former SMS Athletes as well as our SMS Coaches. 

Schedule: Volleyball Camp: 8:30am - 10:00am | Snack Break: 10:00am - 10:30am | Basketball Camp: 10:30am - 12:00pm

JUNIOR HIGH SCHOOL CAMP (Grades entering 6th-8th): 

MONDAY, JULY 14th - 17th (2025) 

This camp is for campers going into 6th through 8th grade in the Fall of 2025. It is designed to enhance skills, game strategy, prepare them for their middle school try-out and the opportunity to play volleyball in High School.  Coaches will consist of current and former SMS Athletes as well as our SMS Coaches.

HIGH SCHOOL CAMP (Grades entering 9th-12th): 

MONDAY, JULY 14th - 17th (2025) 

The purpose of our High School camp is to begin the off-season process of building skills and relationships to strengthen our Raider Volleyball Culture and prepare for the season. The 4 days of camp will be used to work on physical skills, game strategy and team building necessary for us to compete at a high level. The last two days we will do a lot of 6 on 6 drills and scrimmaging. Our goal is to develop the whole athlete to be a part of something bigger than themselves as they work together to navigate life, academics and athletics. 

Time: 10:30am - 12:30pm
