Tryouts: Tryouts will be during the month of December either the 1st or 2nd week. Information for the 2026-2027 tryouts dates will be updated in the fall of 2026.
Practices: Practices will start after we get back from winter break in January of 2027. PRACTICE PRACTICE PRACTICE over the winter break for the for the 2026-2027 season
Season: Our bowling season runs from the 1st week of January to the last week of February. State is held during the 1st week of March.
Where do we practice?: Our home Bowling Alley is Lucky Strike (formerly Bowlero) right off 435 and College Blvd.
Summer: We do not have a summer camp for bowling. Information for Summer bowling leagues and deals will be updated for multiple bowling leagues around the KC Metro area. Please contact those bowling alley's directly for more information.

What is Unified Bowling: Special Olympics Unified Bowling is an inclusive activities program that combines an approximately equal number of Special Olympic students with intellectual disabilities and students without intellectual disabilities on teams for competition and inclusive activities fostering an environment of social inclusion.
How to join: Please reach out directly to Coach Simecka through Email. Spots fill up fast for the amount of cadets (students without intellectual disabilities) I can have on the team. All students with intellectual disabilities are welcome to join.
Practices: Practice will start during the last week of September/first week of October. Practices will be Monday and Wednesday's from 3:15pm to 4:45pm for the first 2 weeks. Then starting week 3 we only Practice on Monday's from 3:15pm to 4:45pm.
Season: Unified Bowling only has 4 regular season meets on Wednesdays at different bowling alleys around the KC Metro. Regionals is held the 2nd week of November and State is held the week before thanksgiving break.
