In this subject, students will build their drawing skills through the exploration of a variety of media and techniques. The focus will be on developing confidence and control in observational drawing, while experimenting with different styles and approaches to representing subject matter. Students will also study the work of artists across time to better understand how drawing has been used as a powerful tool for communication, creativity, and expression. This subject encourages individual exploration and creative growth, while deepening knowledge of the role drawing plays in art and design.
