Students will have the opportunity to use a C.A.D. (Computer Aided Design) program to design their project and then send the design to a laser cutter, 3D printer or CNC Router to have the machine cut and shape their project. Students learn a range of valuable mechanical skills such as visualisation of ideas, C.A.D., design validation, data management skills, project assembly, drawings and assessing finished projects.
