All API responses (XML and JSON) contain four key elements
<api>
<status>ok</status>
<error>None</error>
<locale>en</locale>
<data>
……
</data>
</api>
Can be OK or Error
A description of the error
e.g. "Access Denied", "Invalid Request", "Internal error", "Unknown data format …”
The locale of the content that has been returned. See Appendix 1 for more information about fallback localisation, but this will either match the locale requested (we collapse all english to “en”, so if you request en_US, you may receive en as a response locale), or will match the locale which has been fallen back to.
The data requested in the request, or a response in the case of PUT or POST requests
All the rate types will be available through our RESTful API, searchable by property_id and type_id. It is expected that this information will be pulled when needed by the reseller.
