Oct 23, 2026, 11:30 a.m. RESOLVED: Access to some online resources off campus: All affected ITS web resources are back to normal.

Oct 23, 2026, 9:20 a.m. UPDATE: Access to some online resources off campus: The OneCard site (ocweb.smith.edu/) is now available off campus without the use of VPN.

Oct 22, 2026, 3:25 p.m. UPDATE: Access to some online resources off campus: The OneCard site (ocweb.smith.edu/) used for submitting new photos and reporting lost cards is currently restricted to use on campus or off campus while logged in to the VPN. eDigest and Course Search are now available off campus without the use of VPN.

Oct 22, 2026, 10:40 a.m. UPDATE: Access to some online resources off campus: Library resources libtools and ereserves are now available.  ITS is actively working to restore standard access to all affected online resources.

Oct 22, 2026, 9:25 a.m. UPDATE: Service Disruption: Access to some online resources off campus: The Smith Portal is now available on and off campus; VPN is no longer required. ITS is actively working to restore standard access to all affected online resources.

Oct 21, 2026, 9:20 p.m. ONGOING Service Disruption: Access to some online resources requires VPN when off campus. (On-campus access is unaffected.)

Oct 21, 2026, 1:45 p.m. - As a precautionary measure in response to a security vulnerability, ITS has limited access to some campus online resources. When off campus, you must be connected to the VPN in order to access the Smith Portal, the eDigest online version, and Course Search.

Smith College Dining menus were previously affected, but are now back online.
