23-24 Recruitment

Phase 1:

Phase one is designed for all students to explore career interests regardless of interest in pursuing career programs in high school.  We believe that this activity is valuable for all students as a means to explore his/her opportunities post high school. In collaboration with your English teacher, all students will: 

Phase 2:

Phase two is designed for students who intend to explore an actual career program and want to arrange or attend a virtual meeting with CTE instructors.   Students interested in moving into phase two of recruitment should start his/her CTE application located on sixdistrict.com.   Students will be required to provide basic information and will also need to pick up to five choices.   These choices indicate to CTE instructors that you will participate in a pre-scheduled virtual meet up option. 

Phase 3: 

Phase three of recruitment represents the final phase of recruitment.  After participating in a virtual meet up with the programs that interest you, we ask that you complete your application by providing in rank order the career programs of your choice.  

Phase 4:

Phase four, the final phase, typically occurs in late February which is normally occurs at Seating and Placement.  This is an internal process where school counselors, administrators, and teachers discuss candidates.  After this meeting takes place, please check your school email for the official notification of acceptance from the Six District Educational Compact.
