Singing is a right, a gift, and a skill, all in one. Singing is a right for everyone - if you can talk you can sing. Singing is a gift - it carries physical, emotional, and social benefits. And most importantly for Duke students, it is a skill that can be grown! The best way to grow the skill of singing is by joining chorus (or choir). Chorus is open to all 4th and 5th Grade students at Duke Elementary.

Chorus classes will meet once a week beginning in August. Chorus classes are taught as a pullout class. Students will still need to choose Band, Strings, or General Music as their music specials course.
