Why is it such a Special Book?
Fr John visited year 2 to share his collection of Bibles. He talked to the children about how and when each Bible is used both in church and during daily life.
He talked about what the Bible is special to him and he answered children's questions about the Bible, such as 'Which is your favourite Bible story?' and 'Which part of the Bible is the most important?"

Why was the birth of Jesus such good news?
The children enjoyed taking on the role of Mary and Angel Gabriel as they took turns to act out the story. They thought about how Mary must have felt and showed this through their acting!
Then children imagined that they were able to visit the scene and they thought of questions that would have asked Mary and Angel Gabriel.
