Christmas Good News: Multicultural Christianity

After learning about the Christmas Good News and how it is still spread today, Year 2 explored how Christmas is celebrated by African cultures. Children found out how their celebrations are both similar and different to their own before exploring how the Nativity story is portrayed in different cultures. 

Jesus and the Ten Lepers

Year 2 learnt the story of Jesus and the Ten Lepers and they considered how the lives of the lepers changed after meeting Jesus. This lead them to discuss the importance of showing thankfulness. Then, they acted out the story.
