Llana Fabian

As her pen bled through the remaining space of the creased paper, she relished the bitterly sweet taste of adrenaline left resting her tongue. Pushing her pen to a full stop, she signed quick— unsteadily, she wrote her name under: Llana Fabian. She never would have expected to be able to play anything other than a loose-stringed, faded violin— turns out, words was what she has always wanted to tune. Llana Fabian found herself quietly steering closer to that path, sailing the quiet rivers in her academic journey. While the silence was fulfilling, she was too famished— Fabian wished for a brighter light to flow within her to spark noise in the midst of the sullen hush that embraces her.

Llana Fabian was a name familiar, yet not enough to come clear. She found herself taking on guises that changed her route towards the longing seas— shifting each one, with the strong vows it all came with. Her first, and most memorable, was named: Feature and Literary Editor, which Fabian held dear, and close to her heart. The passion she feels whenever she wears it is almost like applying a rosy tint to the world— with hues leaving a gentle kiss against the streams.

Possessing many masks, she found herself taking on her first one more than the others. In the past, she once encountered a storm as she sailed through a familiar sea— or what she thought was familiar to her. Feeling a close pull from Copyediting, she competed in the Clustered School’s Press Conference and passed through those waters as a participant. As Fabian found herself exploring through the vastness of the sea bodies, she came to a mindful stop— she realized she had stranded up in the wrong place, and wanted to become a Literary writer, instead. She was suddenly awakened by the sudden rush of excitement that flushed through her veins. Llana Fabian begun her journey— though far, she was ambitious enough to sail ever-so slowly through the distant seas towards the waves of words calling as a silent whisper.
