Active Clinical Observation Sites

We will do our best to accommodate your top requests and to utilize Wednesday afternoons designated for the elective whenever possible. A couple of caveats to keep in mind:

• Hospital-based services are better observed in the mornings due to rounds

• Not all clinics are held each AM/PM meaning a clinic you are interested in might not occur on a Wed afternoon

• Most sites have a “cap” on number of learners for a number of great reasons. Residents, fourth year, and third year students have priority when it comes to scheduling. Generally on days senior students have other obligations (orientation, ACS day, academic half day, pre-NBME study period, student academic half day afternoons, etc) are especially good for observations as sites will be less crowded.
