Snail of Approval
WHAT IS THE SNAIL OF APPROVAL?
The Slow Food Snail of Approval is an award given by the Slow Food Vegas chapter to celebrate food and/or beverage establishments that embrace Slow Food values of good, clean, and fair food for all. The Snail of Approval recognizes and celebrates businesses that make commitments to the environment, our local community, their employees and purveyors, and to our core values of antiracism and anti-oppression.
WHO SHOULD APPLY?
Any food or beverage establishment or nonprofit that produces food or beverage, offers products for public consumption, or supports equitable access to food or beverage and is practicing Slow Food values may apply. For example, restaurants, farms, ranches, fisheries, cafes, bars, food trucks, breweries, wineries, caterers, food producers, purveyors, food pantries, community gardens are all welcome to complete the online application. HOW TO APPLY?
Preview the Snail of Approval application 1st here
The application cannot be saved; it must be completed in its entirety once you begin. We strongly suggest previewing it first.
After previewing the application (see step 1), complete the online Eligibility Application
The application takes approximately 30 - 45 minutes to complete
Applicants that receive a passing score will be contacted to schedule a site visit
Slow Food Vegas will consider the application and site visit when making a determination
