Mrs McAlister (English Dept) - “A very special breakfast at Gran’s house with all the family members.”
Mrs Fraser (English Dept) - “Prepping Christmas dinner while I shout at my family to get out of the kitchen, and listening to audiobooks of my favourite Christmas carols.”
Mrs Hutcheson (Maths Dept) - “Getting some fresh materials for Christmas, putting on some Christmas music, family outings and nice advent calendars.”
Mr Fleming (Technical Dept) - “Watching a Christmas movie, eating turkey with bread sauce and spending time with family.”
Miss McCartney (Home Ec Dept) - “Having 2 Christmas dinners with family from both sides: Mum at lunchtime, Dad for dinner.”
Mrs Sinclair (Business Dept) - “Putting up my Christmas tree, having Christmas dinner: turkey with homemade trifle, and spending time with family.”
Mr Brennan (Deputy Head) - “Going to mass on Christmas eve, enjoying some turkey on Christmas day and spending time with family.”
Mrs Thompson (Social Subjects Dept)- “Evie (my daughter) always places the star on top of our Christmas tree and we go to the Christmas markets together.”
Miss McMonagle (English Dept) - "Board games with the family after Christmas dinner, it can get heated but is always a good laugh. I also listen to the 'A Christmas Carol' audiobook every year."
Mrs Campbell (Science Dept) - “Going to mass and Christmas dinner with family at a nice restaurant, then some football afterwards.”
Dr Ireland (Science Dept) - “Meeting family, eating loads of food, putting up the Christmas tree and decorating the house.”
Mrs McArdle (Head Teacher) - “Spending time with family and going to mass.”
Miss Koiak (Music Dept) - “Going to see Newlanark on Christmas Eve and going on the full Christmas experience all to get ready for Santa coming.”

Christmas Traditions: Pupils Edition!
Here it comes, another edition of the amazing Christmas traditions opinion article, but this time pupil themed! Here is another special sneak peek this time at some of our very own pupils' weird and wonderful Christmas traditions, after all, there is no “wrong” way to celebrate the most jolly time of year.
Mark (S3) - “We pull Christmas crackers everyday in December in the run up to Christmas, and we have a traditional Christmas dinner with the whole family.”
Lucy (S3) - “We always get matching PJs and watch The Grinch.”
Ava (S3) - “Every Christmas Eve me and my brother open one gift that we have bought for each other, and also as a family we watch Home Alone before we go to sleep.”
Olivia (S3) - “Having Christmas dinner with my Gran and Papa, and telling Christmas jokes to each other.”
Samuel (S6) - “Celebrating with friends, eating food, playing games and sleeping over for the Christmas period.”
Mya (S3) - “The family gets matching pyjamas.”
Niamh (S3) - “Going to Gran’s house for breakfast in the morning with all my close family, but usually I am not at home. I'm going to Tenerife this Christmas.”
Bea (S3) - “Having a family dinner.”
Arinade (S3) - “Going to church on Christmas eve and Christmas day and spending time with my family.”
Dillion (S4) - “I just go out with my family.”
Nava (S3) - “Eating and spending time with family.”

Caera (S3) - “I love giving gifts at Christmas to make people happy, as well as spending time with family and friends. I think everybody should have something to open on Christmas morning.”
