Our vision is to live as a community of Faith and Learning, where people are respected, know love and experience understanding and support.
We want our pupils to feel empowered, through encouraging high aspirations, providing choice and fostering a sense of hope and service of others in line with the Gospel values that are embedded in the ethos of our school.
We are committed to tackling stigma and discrimination by ensuring equality and equity are at the heart of the support provided. We promote positive mental health, continuously striving to recognise and support those who are faced with mental ill health issues and concerns.
Our staff are dedicated to ensuring that each pupil is given the best possible opportunity to succeed and achieve their full potential.
Using a holistic approach to supporting and promoting the Health and Wellbeing of our community, we have introduced a number of intervention and support strategies. This provision started with the creation of a Health and Wellbeing Committee, involving over 30 staff from across all areas and leadership levels of the school.
In consultation with pupils and parents, staff have been galvanised, giving them the opportunity to contribute to and shape the range of care we offer, as well as creating a ‘tiered system’ of strategy and support.
