Popular Tech Tools for Students

We all know there are TONS of technology tools out there for students and teachers and it is easy to become overwhelmed by them. Below are a handful of popular tools you might find useful. Video Making

Wevideo is an easy to use video editing platform. SKHS students have access to a paid for Wevideo account through their school email address. In order to create a new account, simply choose the "log in with Google" option. Just be sure to login with your school gmail account!

Literacy

Use Grammarly to check your work for proper grammar as well as plagiarism.

Google Suite

Don't forget about the G Suite! Google offers all kinds of tools and they are improving them and adding more all the time. From Docs, to Slides, to Forms Google has a lot to offer you.


Digital Posters and Presentations

Animoto allows you to create a video slideshow out of photos, video clips, and music. Animoto offers both free and paid subscriptions

Powtoon users are able to create short cartoon video presentations.

Canva is a free platform that allows users to create a variety of visual content

Users of Piktochart can create infographics, posters, flyers and more.

Study Tools

Users of GoConqr are able to create mind maps, flash cards, quizzes and more!

Khan Academy offers a variety of online courses, lessons, and practice.
