If you have a long day on campus, you can get your lunch either at the Åkroken cafeteria in the N-building on campus, or in the Grönborg cafeteria. Åkroken has an all you can eat buffé with usually 2-3 options, coffee and biscuits included.
Grönborg serves a plate with 2-3 options and with a salladbuffé.
If you do not want to spend your money, and instead bring your own meal, you can leave your lunchboxes in several fridges, and warm it up in the provided microwaves.
You can find places to sit and study all around the university, most have plugs for your electronic devices, but the best place to study is definitely the Library in the N-building, right above the cafeteria. There, you can even book your own group study rooms.
You get more detailed information about that once you arrive!
Inspark is the introduction days for the new students, which is organised by the student union and all the student committees. You will play games, get to know each other and party together!
It is both a great way to learn about swedish student culture, get to know your fellow international students and also some swedish students who will study the same subjects as you.
These are the colourful overalls the students are wearing during the Inspark. For the internationals, these will forever be a mystery, but it is fun to participate in this tradition. Every student association has their own colour, the internationals are the orange ones! During your study in Sundsvall the committees organise different events, where you can buy or collect patches, which you sew onto the Åvve.
All the student associations also have a mascot. Ours is Nemo.
We're in the process of designing the new patch, since we became a section.
