Students demonstrate an understanding of the physical and human geographic features that define regions in California.

Students will demonstrate the ability locate city locations within the 4 California regions (using various Web based applications) and provide the distance and culturally significant locations within each region.

Students will list and explain the various treaties, wars, and agreements that allowed the United States to go from 13 English owned colonies to 50 Independent States.
