Virtual Instructional Sessions

Virtual instructional sessions will be offered on a set schedule by the teacher. These sessions will follow a set schedule for students to work in small groups with a teacher, virtually in real-time with them. The instruction students receive in these virtual small groups sessions will be by their teacher on predetermined skills and standards in their lessons.

The offering for all grade levels will follow a schedule on content area during set times, so students can have a school day arranged to attend more than one session, as needed, in a school day.

A schedule of when these virtual instructional sessions are held will be posted to the Virtual Academy website. Students are encouraged to attend, but must complete the survey in order to notify the teacher that they will be in attendance.

Virtual Office Hours

Virtual office hours will be offered on a set schedule by the teacher. These sessions will follow a set schedule for students to be able to attend the session, ask for help or get an answer, then leave to continue working on a lesson.

In addition to virtual office hours, students can arrange to get individual help by contacting their teacher.
