How does virtual learning work?

The Virtual Academy gives choice to parents and students for their education. For the 2021 - 2022 School Year, there will be three main choices that we feel will fit most students; however, at any time all three of these choices are an option for students to participate. We are hoping this gives the teacher support for students and parents that is needed in either an in-person or live-time virtual manner.

CHOICE 1:

Full Virtual at Home

Students complete their coursework with a teacher working and supporting "behind the scenes". Teachers monitor students' progress for success, and offer 1:1 support, as needed.

CHOICE 2:

Virtual Classes

Students complete their coursework, while attending virtual classes on a set schedule via Google Meet "synchronous" sessions. Teacher and students are in real-time with a small group of students.

CHOICE 3:

Blended Center

Students complete their coursework, while attending in-person classes on a set schedule, twice a week. Teacher and students are together for in-person support with a small group of students on a specific skill for the week.
