Some 50 cadets and faculty members of SMET successfully donated bags of blood during the bloodletting activity organized by the Marine Propeller Society Club (MAPROS) and Red Cross staff dating March 19, 2019.Β
With the initiative of the MAPROS club headed by the mayor, E/C Angel Bert Pepito, the bloodletting administered by the Red Cross carrying the theme, βA precious blood for a precious life,β tallied a total of 49 successful donors with at least 13 differentials (unsuccessful donors due to some health conditions).
The individuals otherwise called as βheroesβ by the Red Cross joined a mission of saving lives with their blood circulating nationwide for Filipino people battling with challenges related to it. And Red Cross with its movement on bloodletting, assures donors of the good cause they are always apt to.
