OSM Maritime Group will be visiting again the Saint Joseph Institute of Technology Maritime Education and Training (SMET) as asserted on their first visit and confirmed just recently.
According to the statement of Capt. Nestor Almero, Dean of the Maritime Academy, it is final that there will be a revisit of the said shipping company.
OSM is a global market leader for third party management within the Offshore and Maritime Industry, owning 500 vessels and operations all over the world with 11,000 employees.
The schedule of the visit will be held on three consecutive days starting from the 21st to the 23rd day of January 2019.
The activities on that day will cover a general audit of SMET and a possibility of selection of cadets to comprise their company scholars since the shipping company also carries cadetship program similar to the Future Leaders Program of Teekay and SMET.
SNPL (Study Now, Pay Later) cadets from SMET are preparing for this important event. All of them are on standby and are getting ready for the possible cadet scholar selection.
This will be the time that they can showcase themselves to be tagged by the company, selling their brand as SNPL scholars under Future Leaders Program (FLP).
