Xin Tian is a violin expert with over 8 years of experience in both teaching and performing. She has made a significant impact as a dedicated music educator, and her students have achieved remarkable success. Under her tutelage, her students have accomplished outstanding results in prestigious competitions, including the Indonesia International Youth Music Olympics in 2022 and the Euroasia Strings Competition in 2021. Moreover, her students have achieved distinctions in ABRSM Grade 8 examinations, showcasing the effectiveness of her teaching methods and her ability to nurture and develop young talents.


A master's degree in violin performance from UCSI University underpins Xin Tian's musical education. Her dedication and skill on the violin have earned her recognition, including first prizes at the Académie-Festival des Arcs with the DSCH Quartet and the Ipoh Music Festival Competition in the chamber music category. Xin Tian’s musical journey has taken her to prestigious stages with orchestras, including performances with the renowned Malaysian Philharmonic Orchestra, Yin Qi, Selangor Symphony, National Symphony, and Kuala Lumpur City Opera. Her expertise in ensemble playing is evident through her collaborations with the Bachfest Malaysia, Kamerata Kuala Lumpur, Ensemble Virama, and many other esteemed groups. Furthermore, her talents as a soloist have been recognized through her performances with the KLPAC Orchestra.


Xin Tian's versatility extends beyond classical performances. She has had the privilege of collaborating with other professional musicians in a diverse range of settings, including live concerts, TV programs, and studio recordings. Her contributions to performances encompass prestigious events such as Disney in Concert, Harry Potter and the Philosopher’s Stone in Concert, Astro AEC Classic Golden Melody Singing Competition, Astro Gegar Vaganza, TV3 Anugerah Juara Lagu, Radio Televisyen Malaysia, Hands Percussion Malaysia, PAN Production, and Asia Musical Production. Additionally, her exceptional skills have been sought after for studio recordings, including M for Malaysia documentary film soundtrack, Atilia Haron's single release and the film music album ‘Epomania 2’ by Onn San, the award-winning film music composer.

With her extensive experience and passion in both performing and teaching, Xin Tian continues to nurture young musicians and contribute in the performing industry with her versatility as a great musician.
