Will IEP meetings still be held?

If families are available, IEPs will still be held remotely, via phone conference or Zoom (see link below). Your classroom teacher or administrator will be in contact with you to determine your preferred method of participation.

How/where will students get meals during the closure?

Each district has developed a plan to serve students of residence in their attendance areas. Please see https://sjcoe.org/healthsafety/studentfamilyresources.aspx for meal information. This resource can be shared with families!

How do I get in contact with my child's teacher or administrator?

Your child's teacher and team will be in contact with you, if they have not been already, to discuss individualized resources for your child. They will be working with you to find out the best method to support you during this closure - conference calls, zoom calls, facetime, email...and another other virtual method you can think of!

Will my child receive services during the school closure?

Related service providers are available and working remotely during regular school hours, with exception of their regularly scheduled breaks. Related service providers have diligently been working to strategize how to support families at this time. Consultation services will be provided via virtual means to help provide support, accessible resources, strategies/training and activities at home. Contact for related providers will be provided as staff members check in with each family. Please contact McFall, Redwood, WEC, or your child’s teacher if you should need additional assistance.

If I need child care assistance who can I contact?

Please contact Valley Mountain Regional Center at https://www.vmrc.net/ for childcare questions. Your child's teacher or administrator may be able to provide you with additional resources as well. We will post resources to this website as we receive them.
