This project entailed the complete strip-out and re-fit ona modest en-suite bathroom. The dated green sanitaryware was taken out, and a stud wall was removed between the bathroom and adjacent walk-in cup'd to add approx 750mm extra length to the room. The old doorway was blocked up and skimmed, and a three way mixer valve built into the studwork. The ceiling was skimmed to cover the dated artex. The walls and floor were tileds with Travertine, and a feature panel of ribbon cut slate added. Crisp white sanitaryware was added, with chrome fittings and a shower screen, and a full back-to-wall WC pan with concealed cistern. A hardwod top to the boxing and window cill and a coat of white silk paint completed the look, together with a row of 50W spotlights along the centre of the ceiling.A complete transformation of a room no-one wanted to use into a crisp modern bathroom that is warm and inviting.
