I moved to Tokyo University of Science on April 2023. I am working on the development of assistive and welfare robotics as based on robotic technology, such as android robots for communication support and assistive robotic suits for walking support, as well as on the use of IoT functions for robots for elderly care to sense daily activities. I have also been conducting research on the evaluation of assistive technologies, for example, by analyzing receipt data of long-term care insurance. It was found that the long-term use of welfare devices such as rollators has an impact on the maintenance of the physical abilities and life at home.
