Enlist in God's Army

Do you know where you stand with God?

If you have never made Jesus the Lord of your life, then you are separated from God by sin. You are the reason God sent Jesus to the cross, and paid the ransom price on your behalf. Once that price was paid in full, Jesus was raised from the dead, triumphant over Satan; and the sin problem was taken care of.

Right now, God does not hold your sin against you. The only thing keeping you from becoming a child of God is failure to turn from your present world and your present god, which is Satan, and make Jesus the Lord over your life.

You have a free will. You have the right to choose your own destiny. God will not force you to receive salvation. The choice is yours. If you do choose to make Jesus your Lord, God will receive you as His very own child.

The Bible gives some specific instructions that you are to follow in order to become a Christian, or in order to be born again. Look at Romans 10:8-11 in The Amplified Bible:

But what does it say? The Word (God’s message in Christ) is near you, on your lips and in your heart: that is, the Word (the message, the basis and object) of faith which we preach,

Because if you acknowledge and confess with you lips that Jesus is Lord an din you heart believe (adhere to, trust in, and rely on the truth) that God raised Him from the dead, you will be saved.

For with the heart a person believes (adheres to, trusts in, and relies on Christ) and so is justified (declared righteous, acceptable to God), and with the mouth he confesses (declares openly and speaks out freely his faith) and confirms [his] salvation.

The Scripture says, No man who believes in him [who adheres to, relies on, and trusts in Him] will [ever] be put shame or be disappointed.

No matter what kind of sinner you are, no matter what you have done, you can go to Jesus and He will accept you. Once you come to Him, then He will cause you to be born again. He will recreate you, and that sin which has been plaguing you will be a thing of the past. Are you ready? You will be born again spiritually. You use your mouth and You use your heart. Just believe in your heart that God’s word is true, and confess it with your mouth because You believe it. Let go—Swear Yourself In, Out Loud. So, You can heard yourself, your angel, and the Lord.

I, [state your name], do solemnly swear (or affirm) that I will support and defend God, Jesus, and the Holy Bible against all enemies, foreign and domestic; that I will bear true faith and allegiance to the same; I believe that Jesus has been raise from the dead for my justification; that I take this free gift of salvation, and it’s obligation freely, without any mental reservation or purpose of evasion; and that I will well and faithfully discharge the duties of the office of faith on which I am about to enter. So help me God, I’m Your Child, and Jesus is my Savior. Amen.

Congratulations, You have enlisted in God’s Army!

Jesus said, “Whoever comes to me I will never drive away.” John 6:37

Becoming a Christian Soldier is only the beginning of an exciting new adventure. Jesus called it being “born again”. It mean that you now have a personal relationship with God as Your heavenly Father. You are never alone. God has sent the Holy Spirit by Jesus' request to help and guide you into all truth, live each day for God, and to accept the changes He wants to make in your life. You can depend on His power to enable you to grow as a Christian Soldier, and to help rescue others from the enemy’s camp.
