Worship is Very Important to God
Much of worship is not taught, it’s experienced and by people significant in the life of the child. No aspect of training can replace our example. What do you display in front of them? It is positive or negative? Do we say that we value worshiping God, but easily loss our temper when they don’t respond? Are we more enthusiastic about TV, magazines, and other hobbies than personal devotions, church, and even evangelism? As you know, our children see what is important to us and response to what we do. Our children should easily see in us that worshiping God involves the way we live, and what we do.
Walking in God’s integrity: which is lacking in today’s generation. I hope lacking in today’s generation. I hope you do not have the “Do As I Say, and No Do As I Do” syndrome. This syndrome will sincerely hurt your relationship with God. If you do have this experience going on in your life, thank God for change, it can be corrected.
God only wants His best for you and your child that He gave His very best to us– Jesus! What did He do for you and I? Jesus die on the behalf of us, and was buried in a borrowed tomb. But praise God, He was rise up from the dead! Right now, sitting at the right hand of the Heavenly Father God, and making daily intercession for you and me. Don’t you think it is our turn to give God our best? Yes, the bible says that our bodies are presented to God as a living sacrifice, holy, and pleasing to Him; which is our spiritual act of worship (Romans 12:1). Do you se that now? Worship is very important to Him.
Let’s look at this website primary scripture for how we should presence our worship to God?
“God is a Spirit, and they that worship Him must worship Him in spirit and in truth”. John 4:24 KJV
All worship is the result of the heart and in truth. The Father God is looking for people who will worship Him in like manner- “In spirit and In truth”. Our children should easily see in us that worshiping God involves the way we live and what we do when we meet together in worship service. Parents have the privileges of explaining the knowledge of God and of Jesus Christ, our Lord. What an honor! We can show our children that God is not secondary in our lives. We have the awesome job to show them the true and living God; who is worthy to be praise.
