The KSRG seems to be a collaboration between the State fire department and the volunteer fire departments and various rescue agencies . As of 2021 they are still adding Volunteer Fire Departments to the KSRG. Apparently there are requirements that the local VFDs have to meet. The VFDs are funded by the local govts mostly]
