Mentoring a Gifted Student

The new school year often brings new opportunities and challenges for learning and friendships. Wilson Gifted Education Network has been asked to help create a database of community members and parents who would be willing to mentor a gifted student or group of students in an area of interest or expertise. It does not need to be your primary career field; it could be a passion or interest you have that you would be willing to share. It doesn't need to take a lot of time. Sometimes they need just an extra pair of hands to complete the experiment that was started but couldn't be finished without you or to be interviewed for a research or independent project.

Your information will be kept confidential and you would be contacted by the school first before committing to working with a project or student.

Attached is a form for you to fill out on line. It is as easy as 123. We thank you but more importantly the gifted students thank you for supporting them in their educational quest.
