6:30 pm Session 1 - Perfectionism
As many parents know, perfectionism is the gifted child’s disease. This session will share the roots of perfectionism and specific strategies parents can use to help gifted children work through it. It doesn't have to be a negative thing, however, and there are specific techniques that help tame it. Come learn how to help your child avoid perfection paralysis!
Break - 7:30 to 7:45
7: 45 pm Session 2 - Boredom
Virtually everyone endures boredom at some point, but for some people, particularly gifted children, it is a daily challenge that drains them of energy and motivation.
