Education

A wise man uses the tools available. Education to dissuade the powers of ignorance. An educated man looks at all the information available before passing judgement. Being literate is an important weapon.

Everyday of your life you will have people come into your life that either you can help or that can help you. It is your choice whether or not to help them or receive their help. It is also their choice whether or not to help you or to receive your help. You can not force someone to accept your help but by offering your help, you have been a positive influence on their life. We always have choices, hopefully you will chose to of value and not just pass by when someone is needing you. We can only change what we do. When we change in a positive way, it influences others in a positive way.

Education sites:

1. All around you- listen, look, feel, observe the world around you. Use all your senses - sight, touch, taste, smell, hearing. We have been given a variety of senses so we can learn about the world in all its vast diversity. One of the tools the enemy uses to control us is sensory deprivation - God has given us a stronger tool - spiritual.

2. Other people - since the time you were created, people have been influencing your education. Those who have been blessed with a wonderful family unit receive a positive education from their beginning. For those not as fortunate, you will need to rely on other people in your life to gain your education.

3. Schools - the primary purpose of a school is to educate you. Some schools have lost their way and are no longer educating people positively. Schools dictated by governments to teach only their perspective and to not give students the opportunity to learn the different ideas and about history are counter-productive. Schools should be non-biased in their choices. The basic education to teach math, science, history (non-biased), arts, music, reading, and writing do further to help their students progress than the schools which force their political and social views on the children. Be very careful when a school wants to institute changes which are biased to political or social view. Schools are NOT meant to be the only form of education.

4. Books - having a wide variety of books helps to attain a more balanced view of the subjects. The United States has the largest library in the world. They decided when creating their library to not limit their selection to only law books, they even have comic books and movies. Thomas Jefferson was instrumental in providing the beginning of the Congressional Library of Congress when the original library was burnt by the British in the War of 1812. Even though the capital was burnt up with the library in the war, it was a blessing in disguise. If we hadn't been forced to start our congressional library over again, we might have taken a different path with our national library.

5. Internet - the internet is filled with information and misinformation for both sides. Be careful, know who you are getting your information from. Go to the source of their information, do your research and do not take things as truth just because you have read it on the internet. Again, use all the tools you have available to learn.
