OBSA 2010
OCEANIA BIBLICAL STUDIES ASSOCIATION
and
WAVES OF THE MOANA CONFERENCE
9-10 July 2010
Conference Theme:
“Climate Change in Oceania: Biblical and Theological Responses”
The Oceania Biblical Studies Association (OBSA) and Waves of the Moana are two gatherings of islanders with interests in the areas of biblical studies and theology. OBSA’s main goal is to foster Oceanic biblical scholarship within Oceania, whereas the Waves of the Moana promotes Oceanic/Moana contextual theologies. For the first time, the two groups come together to call a fono where we (Oceanians/Pacific Islanders) can talanoa/talanga about one of the most critical issues that confront Oceania, i.e. climate change (see e-Resources for further information).
