Fundraising/Donation

Wat Lao Saysettha of Santa Rosa is in desperate help to raise money for sustainability. We welcome your ideas and help to assist us on this project as we do not want to see our Lao community temple disappear from the Sonoma County area. Wat Lao Saysettha has existed for the past 10 years and would like to continue to provide our Lao community with our services. The temple provides Buddhist salvage too many Lao members in North America. Wat Lao Saysettha of Santa Rosa is first a Buddhist organization and in practicing Lao culture and traditions, second. As we strive to sustain the existent of our religion and traditions through several fundraising functions we hope you will support us through some of these programs.

Building Wat includes several projects as we are in the progress of making the temple a place to be for the Lao community of Northern California.

Future Ideas

In the name of your loved ones (deceased or not), a Memorial site

  • Plant a tree with name engraved in stone

  • Table & Bench with name plate as part of building the temple

  • Engrave in stone on the Temple Wall

  • Build a sitting area with grapevines growing around four poles for shade and a picnic table and chairs.

Building Wat is a continuing project. All funds raised from this project will go toward providing the temple with a beautiful and inviting environment. Depending on your request, the money will go toward planting a tree in your loved one's name with engraved stone or an Outdoor table and bench for a relaxing atmosphere. This way, you will always have a place to come to visit in their memory. Building Wat will continue to preserve Lao cultures, traditions, and places to remember where our ancestors come from. It also helps remind our future generation that there's a place for them to come home
