We are a non-profit Buddhist organization that services the North Bay Area of the Lao-American community; however, all are welcome. We have been servicing Sonoma County since 2001. Since we are a non-profit agency, we continue to seek funding from our local community for some of our major events, such as Lao New Year. Otherwise, we maintain our business function through regular monthly Buddhist Holiday services of food offering, known as Thak baht (earning merit).

Wat Lao Saysettha would like to offer services of meditation every Sunday, after food offering to the monk. Please call for information regarding time and date.

Also please check Facebook under Wat Lao Saysettha of Santa Rosa for current activities as it changes monthly. We sincerely need your participation in order to physically build the temple and our Lao American community for the future of our children. It is our responsibility to guide our younger generation of Lao descent growing up in America that the root of their ancestor started a new home in America since 1975. As such, part of the culture is respecting our elderly, practicing traditional values through Lao folk dances, and coming to the Wat Lao Saysettha (temple) is only to help build our roots to this land and lavish our parents' riches treasures and enhance the strength of our Lao American Community.

Thank you for visiting Wat Lao Saysettha, a non-profit charitable organization. This site is shared among the Lao Buddhist community in Santa Rosa; however, all community members are welcomed. Our goal is to educate the basics of humanitarian of sharing, giving, caring, and respecting others.

We continue to show support in a world full of uncertainty. We have a dream that one day, we all should live our lives in harmony, happiness, and prosperity.

I am proud to be your leader, and honored to have the opportunity to develop a new leadership style up and down the chain of command and the Buddhist community. However, I am confident having the Buddhist community with decades of experience by my side, together we will find new ways to implement new ideas while preserving our Lao cultures and traditions.
