Protecting Boston

Introduction

This is a mission for Boston to find a way to be efficient with food and water during a natural disaster.

The Purpose (Mission)

• To find a way to continue to provide Boston with it's regular clean water
• To find a way to keep the homeless from floods and lack of food and water
• To make sure all of our shelters are safe and large enough to fit a vast amount of people
• To make sure all Boston citizens know the evacuation routes if needed

• 2+ liters of Water (per day per a person)
• Non Perishable Foods
• Blanket
• Flashlight
• Batteries
• Portable Water Filter
• Communication devices (e.x. radios, beepers, clocks, cell phones)
• Clothing
• Wet wipes
• Dry soap
• Thermometer
• Air quality sensor
• Matches
• Toiletries
• Duct Tape
• Jumper wires
• Waterproof-items
• Health papers, passports, or IDs
• Anything else that you need

Objectives

Inform the city of Boston on how to stay safe during a drought or hurricane. We need to find a way on how to make sure our transportation continues in flooding and create a safer drainage system.
