To make Boston more resilient/sustainable to hurricanes we could:

• energy- raise the power strip on the orange line
• environmental effects- create a system that tells the commuter rail weather a tree falls down on the lines
• ethics- when the power goes out, the trains that around the most needed areas get to have the power first
• infrastructure- add pumps for the water in the transportation stations (for the train and the bus)
• supply chains- have backup trucks if any of them get damaged while delivering merchandise to a supply chain center
• Big Data- use past information from other hurricanes
• communications- communicate through radio systems to insure that all people who use public transportation know that a storm is going on

To make Boston more resilient/sustainable to droughts we could:

• energy- go to a commercial car wash that recycles water
• environmental effects- notify people on the road if a tree has fallen
• ethics- repair crumbling roads
• infrastructure- use concrete for the roads instead of asphalt
• supply chains- less water use by truck drivers for companies
• Big Data- use data from past droughts
• communications - communicate to people who use public transportation about the drought
