Storm water drainage
Swedish Water (Svenskt Vatten)
Swedish Water developed a report in 2011 about sustainable storm and drainwater management (Swedish: Hållbar dag- och dränvattenhantering) which describes well the retention mechanisms that can be applied. These are important to reduce extreme flows downstream e.g. not to overload the treatment facility with to much water at once.
Sustainability in urban storm drainage, planning and examples by Peter Stahre, published by Swedish Water (svenskt vatten) in 2006. to order copies contact svensktvatten@svensktvatten.se
