Other Resources
1. DACA in a Day
A program run by Karol Brown, Immigration Attorney, and Kristen Jensen to provide large numbers of students low cost legal representation and support materials to complete the application (take passport pictures, translate documents) in one day at different sites across WA. They are raising money to help families who have multiple DREAMers applying so that they can afford the fee. Email Krista Jensen, program manager at web_juggler@yahoo.com for more information.

3. DACA App message from DREAM: An American Story on Facebook (https://www.facebook.com/ImmigrationMovie)
"Good evening community!
Since we've noticed that there have been a lot of questions regarding DACA and its impact at the state and local levels - we thought it would be a good idea to create a mobile app that could help guide undocumented youth through the process - with helpful information and access to resources along every step of the journey.
We are negotiating with a mobile app development
company in Brooklyn and we plan to run an indiegogo "crowdfunding" campaign to raise the necessary dollars to create the app and make it available to the undocumented community for free. More info on that part coming soon.
So this is where you can help right now...this is the "crowdsourcing" part of the process...where we ask YOU what features and/or kinds of information you'd like to see as part of the app. So far, we've thought of including:
1. Information on DACA: the process, resources for help and affiliated information - like which states offer driver's licenses for DACA recipients
2. Up to date information and news about the DREAM Act and related immigration law reform under easy-to-navigate headings
3. Information and resources for undocumented youth applying to schools, universities, and certification programs, and
4. An area that will feature video clips related to the DREAM Act, videos about fellow DREAMers, and the ability to record and upload your own DREAM story to share with the world, so that we can send these stories to Congress in an effort to aid passage of immigration reform legislation.
What do you think? What else should we think about adding?
Please let us know...we'll be running the indiegogo campaign soon! Thanks!"
